How does your process differ to other competing AI-based processes?
It has been shown that using Claude Opus chatbot with various skills and an iterative process, plus some formatting software, can achieve better results than — for example — Sudowrite. However the Claude Opus-based method is still a manual process.
Our process is automated enough that we can offer it at such a low cost, confident it achieves even better results than the Claude Opus process currently being recommended. Also our system is sufficiently automated that we retain no copyright in the generated screenplay. We make no creative decisions when running the process.
How long will the screenplay be?
The usual target is approximately 90–110 pages, depending on genre, pacing, intended running time, and your requirements. We agree on a target range before the screenplay is drafted.
Is this just a few people running a chatbot in the background?
No. The system is based on a 10-stage process that was scientifically developed over a number of years, without training directly on other people's IP. Although it is human-supervised, the screenplay is created by an AI and IT process, and thus copyright remains yours.
How are story quality and screenplay quality assessed?
The material is reviewed against a consistent set of dramatic and screenplay-specific criteria. The nature of these criteria is part of our IP.
The assessments support the development process; they do not replace it.
Will the screenplay be ready to shoot?
The result is intended to be an initial development screenplay. A shooting script may require further work with the director, producers, department heads, actors, financiers, and production team.
What genres do you support?
Most narrative genres are suitable, including drama, comedy, thriller, horror, science fiction, romance, crime, action, mystery, and combinations of these.
Who owns the finished screenplay?
Once payment obligations have been met, the client receives all rights to the commissioned deliverables.
You remain responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use all source material you provide.
Is my idea confidential?
Client materials are treated as confidential and are not intentionally shared or published without permission. If you require formal contractual protection, a mutual nondisclosure agreement can be arranged before substantive materials are supplied.
The applicable agreement should specify storage, confidentiality, retention, and deletion terms.
Will you claim a writing credit?
Never. We are happy to include such elements in an NDA.
Do you accept every project?
No. We may decline projects that cannot be completed responsibly, fall outside the service’s capabilities, present substantial rights concerns, or contain prohibited material.
Do union members receive a discount?
Yes. Members of the DGA, PGA, and WGA receive 20% off the service. During payment, select your union and enter your membership number. The discount applies to both the deposit and the balance payment. Membership numbers are deleted after the process has completed and are not published or shared.
Can I upload a screenplay as a style guide?
Yes, optionally. When you submit your logline you may upload one PDF or FDX screenplay as a surface-style reference (formatting, dialogue cadence, prose texture). It does not guide deep character work or story structure.
